Applicants currently enrolled in graduate study must not have completed more than one academic year (according to the institution’s academic calendar) of graduate study as indicated on the Registrar-issued transcript(s) as of the application deadline. Completion of graduate coursework or studies prior to the current enrollment is counted toward this total, even if graduate studies were in another field.

Non-degree graduate coursework must be clearly identified in the transcript. Graduate status is determined to begin on the date indicated on the Registrar-issued transcript(s). If a transcript does not include a matriculation date for graduate study, the first term in which your transcript indicates your student status is graduate will be considered the start of your graduate studies.

Applicants are not required to submit an official transcript; however, currently enrolled second-year graduate students are strongly advised to provide official Registrar-issued transcripts that clearly indicate the start date of their graduate degree enrollment as part of their application. If the start date is not clearly stated in the transcript, applicants should upload a Registrar-issued document indicating the start of graduate degree enrollment to avoid delay in processing.
